What does it mean to have an online presence? To me it is more than just posting on social network website such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn, Tumblr, etc.
I think having an online presence is putting your opinion online and contributing to discussion, whether that be responding to an article you read online or even blogging I think that is a good base. For me personally, I do not think I have contributed much to the cyber world. I have created a blog for some of my prior classes in high school and never really continued on with them. Other than social media I do not feel like I really express my opinion online. I realize that I do not have a very good understanding of other such ways to create an online presence and that is hoping I learn here in college from classes such as Theater 201. I hope by creating this blog I will carry it on throughout college and even beyond that. Then when I am at a job interview and they ask "What is your online presence?" I will say I have a blog! Hopefully, this is the first of many blog entries and I am on my way to success!
